Tour 2023 !
India will be touring the West Indies in July/Aug 2023 to play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20s. 2 of the T20s will be in Ft Lauderdale.
12 American College Cricket members will be selected to “shadow” the Tour for the matches, a bit like the English “Barmy Army” you may have heard of. Our players will get opportunities to meet the Indian and West Indies players, like our 3 members who did in Ft Lauderdale this year. Our bowlers may also be Net bowlers.
Because our guys might only to be available for a week or so the Tour will probably be in 3 segments : 1 each based around each Test and 1 based around the T20s. Each Test segment may include an ODI or T20 depending on the actual schedule of the Tour.
American College Cricket members selected may select 1 or multiple segments depending on how much time they have available. Since these are the Caribbean islands and Florida, no doubt you will also do “touristy” things like hit the Beaches etc.
Our members will get special access to the matches.
Specific details will be available later. To be eligible your club must participate in our Regional and National Championships, and you could be a top player or part of Club Management, even if you don’t actually play for your club.
