Series vs Ft Lauderdale Lions to be Annual feature at Broward
After a successful American College Cricket All Stars vs Ft Lauderdale Lions Series on All Star Weekend June 18 & 19, it was confirmed by Jell Miller, Worldwide Sports CEO that the Series will be an Annual one at Broward Stadium on the Weekend before the Minor League Season begins.
2 other MILC teams had wanted to play vs American College Cricket but could not put together the logistics, which was mainly getting a venue, as the MILC teams did NOT have to pay for American College Cricket. Perhaps in 2023 a team will execute, and American College Crikcet will play another Minor League team on the Weekend prior to playing Ft Lauderdale Lions.
The Series was useful for the Lions to prepare for their season, and also evidence that Worldwide Sports was constantly looking for ways to help local, and young players.
