Cricket TV-Chanderpaul Cricket Academy for American College Cricket players!
Nino DiLoreto, Emmy Award winning TV veteran, interviews Chris Thakoorprasad, Manager of the Wisden & ICC 2008 Cricketer of the Year Shiv Chanderpaul. Chanderpaul is also # 10 on the All Time List of Test Run Scorers.
With the establishment of the Shiv Chanderpaul Cricket Academy at the Sarasota International Cricket Field, cricket players from nearby Universities such as the University of Florida (Gators),the University of Central Florida and the University of Tampa will be able to take immediate advantage.The Academy will also serve cricketers of all ages from the USA,Canada & elsewhere.
Cricket players from Florida International University and the University of Miami will receive coaching at the BIG Broward Cricket Academy (established by BIG League USA) at the Cricket Stadium.
The national Championship, the American College Cricket Spring Break Championship is played for the Chanderpaul Trophy.
