Cricket Stadium for Toronto promises Joe Pantalone, if elected Mayor

Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone, running for the top job as Mayor of Toronto, has promised to build a Cricket Stadium if elected in the next municipal election

Deputy Mayor Joe Pantalone met with cricket players and representatives of the Toronto and District Cricket Association, the Canadian Commonwealth Cricket Association of Toronto, and the GTA Cricket Council, and with community members at the Mayor’s Cricket Tournament in June. 

Pantalone became convinced that Toronto’s sports infrastructure must change and grow to match it’s changing, growing sports community, according to his campaign press secretary.
