Chanderpaul hit ! but keeps on hitting !cracks 151* vs South Africa!

Second Test West Indies vs South Africa , Saint Kitts, Day 3

The cricket world is waiting to see the West Indies Team return to the its winning ways (except of course whatever country they are playing against). Today West Indies responded strongly to formidable South African score of 543 for 6 declared, led by an attacking undefeated 151* by WI rock, Shiv Chanderpaul.  

Dale Steyn struck Shiv Chanderpaul on the helmet with a short ball that didn’t get up and just as he did against Australia at Sabina Park two years ago, Chanderpaul went on to pass three figures.

 His 22nd Test century arrived in 187 balls as he and Brendan Nash helped their side recover from 151 for three and take their side past the follow-on target before Nash was run out by AB de Villiers for 114. It was Nash’s 2nd Test century.

 The left-handed Chanderpaul faced 148 balls to get his century in an aggressive innings.Chanderpaul faced 262 deliveries by stumps, hitting 10 fours and 1 six. Shiv Chanderpaul is also the endorser of the American College Cricket Spring Break Championship.

South Africa lead the 3-match series 1-0 having won the first Test in Trinidad by 163 runs.
