PSAL – NYC High Schools Cricket League

Richmond Hill High School of Queens continues to show that they can live up to their potential by still being unbeaten after Week 4 of the NYC High schools  (PSAL) Cricket League. Of the 28 schools in the PSAL Cricket League the unbeaten Teams are Richmond Hill (7-0), Lafayette HS (6-0), Sheepshead Bay HS (6-0) and Aviation HS (5-0).

The 2008 and 2009 Champions, Newcomers High School has won 4 and lost 3. Last year’s other Finalist, John Adams High School has won 5 and lost 4.

Abrar Zafar of FDR High School slammed the 1st century of the High School season.

 

COLLEGE PLAYERS  STATS  IN LEAGUE GAMES

Adrian Gordon took 2 wickets  (4 batsmen retired hurt)

Adil Bhatti (MC)has scored 52* and 30 in 2 innings so far, in the Washington Cricket League. He has taken 2 wickets.

Ankit Sehgal (MC) is winning every game on Howzat cricket on Facebook, and winning Achievements & Badges . In League cricket he scored 62* and took 5 wickets in a game.

Shiva Vashishat (UC) blasted a century, 111*

Prashant Nair, NY Under 19 player,got 8 wickets for 16 runs in a match, for his team Atlantis CC, against Victory CC. Prashant had figures of 5.3-1-16-8  with his spin bowling. Prashant is just 17 years old, and actually a High School senior at the Village Academy @ Tilden Campus High School.

Azurdeen (Andy) Mohammed (TCI) of Meten-Meer-Zorg CC top scored with 88 against Liberty CC.. Andy was recently selected for the USA Team

Yogindra (Kishan) Dass of Rising Star CC took 4 for 14 against Enmore CC
