NYC High Schools Week 2 Results

Lafayette High School (5-0), Aviation High (4-0), Richmond Hill High (4-0) and Martin Van Buren High (2-0) were the unbeaten teams after Week 2 of 2010 PSAL regular season.

2009 PSAL Champions Newcomers High School , having lost stars like Robin Das (now attending St John’s University) and John Adams High, having lost Thakur Singh (now at John Jay College) are not off to good starts.

WEEK 2 RESULTS :
April 24th:

Aviation (I. Khan – 31, and D. Zafar – 30) defeated William C. Bryant in nail biting, Richmond Hill too good for John Adams, Martin Van Buren win easily against LIC, Jamaica took care of Franklin K. Lane, and Queens HS of Teaching no contest against Hillcrest. William Grady no match for Clinton, FDR dominated Stuyvesant, and Bronx Science falls to Lafayette.

April 23rd: Defending champions Newcomers register first win of the season, whilst Lehman prevented Stuyvesant from its first win.

April 22nd: Bronx HS of Science wins two in a row, Lehman took care of Clinton, while mother nature interrupted showdown between Aviation and Martin Van Buren.

April 21st: Bronx HS of Science win convincing against Lehman HS. Tyrel Dat – 48 runs n.o. and Rajiv Dayal – 47 runs

April 20th: Martin Van Buren defeated William C. Bryant, and Clinton HS win easily against Stuyvesant Tigers.

April 19th: Aviation Flyers (3-0) very impressive against defending champions Newcomers, whilst newcomer Franklin K. Lane took care of John Adams in close encounter.
