Florida Tourism endorses Championship !

South Florida has a rich tradition of hosting some of the biggest sporting events in the United States, among them: 10 Super Bowls, NHL All Star Game, NBA All Star Game, NBA Championship Finals, NCAA Basketball & Baseball Regionals, Breeders Cup, FED EX Orange Bowl, BCS Football Championship, Sony Ericsson Tennis Championship, NASCAR Championship.

We welcome the American College Cricket Spring Break Championship to that list. The Championship, endorsed by the 2008 International Cricket Council and Wisden Cricketer of Year Shiv Chanderpaul, promises to be an exciting sporting event as 24 University Cricket Clubs compete to win the prestigious Chanderpaul Trophy.
 
The Championship will be played in beautiful Cricket Fields including the Cricket Stadium at Central Broward Regional Park, the only such facility in North America.
Fort Lauderdale is a world class tourist destination offering the 10 million visitors annually from around the world lively arts and entertainment, top-notch shopping, beautiful sandy beaches, great dining and much more.
