Cricket pioneered the use of statistics in sports as far back as the 1700s. Henry Chadwick, a cricketer introduced cricket stats recording to baseball in the 1800s & became known as the ‘father of baseball) & a Baseball Hall of Famer.

In late 2011 Crichq was introduced to Lloyd Jodah, American College Cricket President, who was searching for an online scoring option for the record number of matches in the National Championship (47 in 2010 & 67 in 2011). Lloyd had Rahul Potghun (Auburn) check it out, and  adopted it, partially for the 2012 American College Cricket Nationals & Regionals, & 100% for 2013.

American College Cricket then pioneered the promotion & use of this revolutionary software across USA & Canada. In April 2012 American College Cricket & Crichq became cricket technology partners.

Jamie Lloyd and Crichq provide excellent support. Use of the scoring app is free, but being members of American College Cricket your club gets benefits that would otherwise have a significant cost – use them properly. We have FULL data collection & management of stats.

Cricketers LOVE stats, which is why its surprising that many of our players (college students !) are still not using Crichq properly. You will email us if we make an error in spelling your name on our website, but your scorecards are full of “Unsures” for players’ names !

When done LIVE, with internet service, fans can follow anywhere in the world on AmericanCollegeCricket.com & Crichq.com.

There should never be a reason to submit an incomplete or incorrect scorecard. With our ‘audit’ function you can correct any mistake at any stage. Here is a video explaining in depth how this works… http://support.crichq.com/customer/portal/articles/1126986-auditing-on-the-crichq-app
