In August the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy and Anil Kumble was in the India Day Parade on Madison Ave in NYC.
6 American College Cricket players including LIU-Brooklyn Blackbirds Captain Sandeep Kumar & American College Cricket President Lloyd Jodah had the pleasure of riding with the great Kumble and the Trophy, on the Espn & TV Asia floats.
On Sunday the West Indies won the Trophy and became World Champions, in the short format of the game !The match was shown on tape-delay on ESPN2.
