Back in 2011, the IPL’s Rajasthan Royals invited the 2011 American College Cricket MVP Adrian Gordon (NYU-Polytechnic) to India to spend a week with the team. NYU-Poly’s Adrian Gordon had a great time, in his words :

Adrian Gordon Is very talented cricketer, i saw him during practicing with us in Rajasthan Royals IPL Camp. He really bowled well against Shane Watson, Ross taylor and Rahul Dravid. He bowled with a real good pace,
very nice and funny guy….. I really enjoyed a day with him.
