At least 6 American College Cricket teams had their team flights canceled multiple times, spending over 6 hours at the airport, not knowing if they would get flights, even as late as Thursday. They communicated with Lloyd, desperately assuring him they were coming to play, even if they had to play 3 matches in a day !
A lot of rescheduling happened, as teams became clearer, at the last minute about when they could get on flights after being cancelled as much as 3 times ! After their 3rd cancellation the U of Maryland College Park team decided to rent cars and drive to Ft Lauderdale. 22 hours later they got to their destination !
Jamie Paul Lloyd, Max Diah & Lloyd Jodah of the Management Team, with the assistance of CBRP Stadium Manager Duncan Finch ensured no games were shortened and all 49 matches were played, some under lights. It was a truly remarkable effort for what has been the World’s largest cricket tournament since 2010.
So the result was Wednesday the 1st day, had only 6 games instead of the usual 12. Day 2 had 11, Day 3 = 17, Day 4 had 12 including the Quarter Finals. The Semis & Final were played as usual in the CBRP Stadium, and filmed by SONY for televising.

The WVU vs NJIT game was particularly remarkable as WVU, powered by Sohail Chaudhary’s 120 piled up 195 for 4, only to see Saliq Iqbal make 107* to take NJIT to victory with a 6 !
The 3rd century was by Shahroze Shah (Ryerson) who with Hassan Mirza, 66, put on 173 for the opening partnership, the 2nd Highest in ACC tournament history. Ryerson scored over 200 in all 3 of their Group matches.
