SONY’s American College Cricket National Championship!

American College Cricket started college cricket in 2009 and created over 100 clubs. The first Live Stream of Cricket in USA was by American College Cricket in March 2010. We did the first cricket on TV in USA was American College Cricket in Oct 2011. The only cricket in USA on ESPN was American College Cricket in March 2014. From 2016 we began broadcasting on SONY, the world’s most important cricket broadcaster which developed the IPL.

We have organized the largest cricket tournaments in the world, with the largest being 2011 Nationals which had 67 matches in 5 days. The fields include Broward Stadium, the only ICC Certified cricket ground in USA, where India played in 2016, 2019, 2022 and will again in 2023.

We have broadcast over 140 matches on SONY, ESPN, TV Asia & Live Streams.I n 2016 SONY became our Exclusive Broadcast Partner and the 2023 National Championship Semis & Final will be on SONY, with other matches being Live Streamed all day, every day.

“For the 2023 American College Cricket National Championship we will use the Stadium for ALL 5 days of the Championship, playing at least 15 matches on the beautiful pitch and outfield,” said Lloyd Jodah, American College Cricket President, “The Stadium has been regarded as the American “Lords” since we started playing there in 2009, so for the players in this Championship it will be an even more memorable experience, playing on pitches that Virat Kohli, M.S Dhoni, Chris Gayle and other stars have played on.

Broward Cricket Stadium, & its side fields, has been a home of American College Cricket since March 2009, when the Stadium was new, and not being used. We were there throughout the tough years when the Stadium was referred to as a “white elephant”. We brought the NY Times in 2009, the first Live Stream of cricket in USA in 2010, TV in 2012, ESPN in 2014 and SONY in 2017, 2018 & 2019 – with a break because of the lockdow. In 2016, 2019 & 2022 India played there, the West Indies, other International cricket and the Jamaica Tallawahs and CPL have graced the Stadium, and with the 2024 T20 World Cup coming up many games will be played on its pitches.
