10th Anniversary of our Hall of Fame & Chanderpaul’s induction!

We’re celebrating 10 years of the American College Cricket Hall of Fame on Dec 13, 2012 at a Press Conference in Queens NY. Shiv Chanderpaul was there for the event, and Colin Michael Jodah, Lloyd’s brother (who died the next month) and Kayla, doing media honors.

2 nights later Shiv was surprised when it was announced that he was the 1st Inductee in the Hall of Fame ! Brian Lara, Clive Lloyd, Courtney Walsh and Jimmy Adams attended as well as 2012 National Champion York College’s Mohammed Suleiman.

The 1st Class of our Players inducted were the 2013 Class, as was posthumously Colin Michael Jodah for his amazing behind the scenes work for American College Cricket, not to mention his boyhood cricket & sports rivalry with Lloyd. Other historical notables were also inducted. Later the great Rohan Kanhai was inducted for his achievements and inspiration to Lloyd and countless generations, which extended even to Sunil Gavaskar, Alvin Kallicharran and Bob Marley.

Since 2013, 61 American College Cricket players have been inducted, the list is on our website, and this month, celebrating the Hall of Fame’s 10th Anniversary another Class will be named.

Players earn induction based on their contributions, on and off the field, to American College Cricket when their college playing career is over. They may still be invited to play in All Star or Alumni matches even after induction.
