Hotel Upgrade for 2022 Nationals !
Over 10,000 of our players used our Official Hotel from March 2009 to March 2020. They have fond memories, including bowling the ball off the pool, to the batsman standing poolside, among many other exciting and funny stories Lloyd might cover in his upcoming book. Lloyd himself remembers coming down to the Dining room (Breakfast was included for many years) and greeting players eating before heading out to their matches.
The India Restaurant which was within the building, closed a few years ago but that too often had multiple tables filled with players eating India food. For Lloyd it was awesome meeting the players away from the field, and occasionally eating with some.
That hotel has now been demolished (it was not a 5 Star hotel, and old), and no doubt very negatively impacted by the Lock Down. We are pleased to announce a significant upgrade to our Lodging for Nationals ! Below are a few pics – it’s Downtown Ft Lauderdale so, when not playing our players will have easy access to the gorgeous Ft Lauderdale Beach, restaurants and other amenities. Most importantly it’s still only 12 minutes from Broward Stadium !
The rooms are Suites with a kitchen, dining table, work table, free Wi fi, rooftop pool & Hang out area for relaxing or getting your school work done, and other amenities. Free hot Breakfast included. Having the Kitchen, with Fridge will save teams $$ on food.
Usually Parking is $27 daily but this is waived for our Teams, and this allows you to walk around town & the Beach without looking for, and paying for parking.
