Faraz Zaidi (Drexel) Batting to stop the Coronavirus

Faraz Zaidi’s batting and all round performance helped take Drexel Draagons to the Final at the American College Cricket National Championship in a magnificent performance by the team. His overall stats in American College Cricket are 17 innings 437 runs , 68 Highest Score, Average 27.3 with a Striek Rate of 157. He has taken 15 Wickets at 19.8, econ 5.8.

Right now he’s involved in helping find a vacine for the Coronavirus at ‘in the lab of David B. Weiner at Philadelphia’s Wistar Institute, which is collaborating with Plymouth Meeting-based Inovio Pharmaceuticals and other partners to deliver a vaccine within months.’

‘ In the lab at Wistar, Zaidi and Park were testing one of several versions of the vaccine — verifying that the instructions, once delivered inside human cells, would cause the correct proteins to be made. ‘

Faraz is originally from Mumbai and got married last year.
