Honors from Queens’ President Melinda Katz !
For the 2nd time the Melinda Katz, President of Queens, a borough of 2.4 million people in NYC has honored Lloyd Jodah, American College Cricket Founder and President with an Award. Queens has been Lloyd’s home for over 30 years. This 2nd Award, a Citation of Honor, was given as part of the Celebration of Guyana’s 53rd Independence. The Ceremony was conducted at the Helen Marshall Cultural Center at the Queens Borough Hall.
Last year, when American College Cricket returned to playing the North East the Queens Borough President took the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of American College Cricket by awarding a ‘Declaration of Honor’ to Lloyd.
