Tegveer Ghura- BU’S Male Athlete of the Year 2018/19 !
Boston University’s Tegveer Ghura wrapped up a great school year winning the Top Male Athlete of the Year 2018/19 at the school’s Annual Club Sports Award night. Tegveer had topped the 2018 Home and Away season Batting, scoring 438 runs – next best batsman had 266. An average of 36.50 in 12 innings with 109 as his Highest Score plus 2 Fifties. He smashed the most sixes, 24 and 42 fours. This earned him selection on the American College Cricket USA team which defeated Canada 3-0 in Jan 2019.
In 2019 Home and Away Tegveer already has 144 runs at an average of 36 so he’s on track to do the same as last year. He’s also taken 6 wickets vs the 8 he took last year.
Tegveer turned 20 in December and is studying Economics.For the past 2 years he has been 1 of our very best at Sharing American College Cricket posts on Facebook, doing his part in promoting the game.He also supports us on Instagram.
