Sachin scores 100 ! John Adams leads NYC High School League 7-0 !
The 11th season of the NYC High School (PSAL) Cricket league is proceeding despite a prolonged Winter this year, cold temperatures, snow and now rain. Like last year 35 NYC Public High Schools are competing and the Finals will be in June.
The league is run by the NYC Board of Education, with Bassett Thompson as the Commissioner since its inception in Spring 2008, and we spoke with Bassett at one of the games this week. The following day we interviewed Tamesh Persaud, a John Adams player who scored a century. That interview now has more than 5,000 views !
