The Bazooka Cricket Finals MVP Shahroze Shah (Ryerson) !
The BAZOOKA Cricket MVP of the 2017 National Championship; Final was Shahroze Shah (Ryerson) !
The tall, slim right hander is a devastating stroke player who eschewed his usual hard hitting style in the Final, on a difficult batting pitch, to make a match saving 63 for this team. The next highest batsman, his Captain Mirza, made 27.
In the Semi Final Shah made a duck, but in a Group match he smashed 118, leading a commentator to say it’s “Feast of Famine” with Shahroze. Shah was also the MVP back in 2015 in Toronto, at the 1st USA vs Canada Series where his runs included a century !
Last year he also made 105* and a Fifty, ending with an average of 88.5 ! Overall in his 3 National Championships for Ryerson he has scored 507 runs at an average of 39, with 2 Centuries and 3 Fifties !
This Nationals Shah topped the Runs Aggregate with 291 from 6 innings, with 1 Century & 1 Fifty.
Shahroze will receive a Full Kit Bag of Bazooka Cricket equipment, including Bats, Pads, Gloves, Helmets.
