Smart Choice Moosa Stadium hosts Canada in Texas !
Majid Rizvi (Smart Choice Captain), has moves on, & off the field
Smart Choice’s President and CEO Sakhi Muhammad announced that Majid Rizvi will captain Smart Choice USA vs Canada in the 3 T20 matches to be played at Moosa Stadium, in Houston on April 28, 29 and May 1, for the Sushil Nadkarni International Trophy. The athletically well-built Majid is often mistaken for Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan even whilst impressing with his cricket.
Chairman of the event, Lloyd Jodah (American College Cricket Founder & President), explained, “This series is an innovative partnership between private enterprise, Sakhi Muhammad, the ICC and Cricket Canada and it took the investment of considerable resources by Sakhi to make this happen.Its easy to get ideas, its immeasurably more difficult to implement practical ones. Having a tireless logistics manager like Amir Saddique is a tremendous asset.”
The Canada National Team will play 3 matches at Smart Choice Moosa Stadium vs Smart Choice USA, bringing International cricketers to Texas, the state of the American College Cricket 2015 National Champions University of Texas Dallas ! in The matches can be followed ball by ball on Chauka.com and links & updates will be on Smartchoicesports.com, Smart Choice Sports Club & American Pro Cricket Facebook pages, & Sakhi Muhammad’s FB wall.

“Mervyn Dillon (former WI Test Player), Ricardo Powell (former WI Test Player), Williams Perkins (CPL), Navin Stewart (CPL), Jan Nisar Khan (PIA), Shehzar Mohammed (PIA, Grandson of Legend Hanif Mohammed, son of Shoaib Mohammed), Steve Massiah, Timroy Allen, Roy Silva and Usman Shuja will be among the players for Smart Choice in the first 2 matches.
Sakhi stated: “The following players who will be part of 3rd T20 Squad and Reserves for 1st Two T20s against Canada. Players are either picked from the existing Smart Choice Houston, Smart Choice Pro teams or from other HCL Teams who had been chosen to be part of Smart Choice’s development team to play against out of town teams in bigger competitions.”
