2 Jamaica High School cricketers,Dershaun Bishop & Chris Singh

Funnily enough Ray Romano of “Everybody loves Raymond” and Fran Drescher of “The Nanny” graduated from Hillcrest High School in Jamaica,Queens in 1975.  

Hillcrest High School has a strong baseball program, and also won the division soccer title in 2007 and 2008. 

This year its cricket team is so far undefeated in the NYC PSAL ( public high school ) cricket league, having won its 7 games. They even defeated their strong neighbours Jamaica High School, which boasts fast bowler Chris Singh.
