Sports Illustrated notices American College Cricket Face in the Crowd

Ian Carlin, former Wooster running back, will be rooting for his Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl and hoping they get to celebrate with the Lombardi Trophy.

Ian himself has reason to celebrate, as he was recently named one of the 5 American College Cricket Players of the Year 2010. Ian also won the John Bart King Award, named after the USA’s greatest cricket player who played in the late 1800’s & early 1900’s.

To top it all Ian is featured in the Jan 31st Sports Illustrated magazine “Faces in the Crowd” section,page 22, with the Pittsburgh Steelers on the cover !
