1st College Cricket Hall of Fame inductee Shiv Chanderpaul & Abdullah Sheikh (USF Bulls)

Here are the College Players of the Year 2012, the new, plus 2 repeat winners, in a year sponsored by Coca Cola !

Abdullah Ashgar Sheikh (USF) - for the past month Abdullah has had a great profile pic - the American College Cricket logo !

Sheikh had a near- MVP performance in the 2012 Nationals. Bowling fast,he took 9 wickets for 115 runs. He scored 268 runs @ 47 runs average, with 3 fifties and a highest score of 88. He also took 5 catches. No wonder he got lots of votes from USF Bulls fans.

At the 2012 South East Regionals his top performances were 21*, 38* & 3 for 9, & 2 for 24.

But it was his promotion of American College Cricket that gave Abdullah the edge, and made him THE College Player of the Year among the outstanding young athletes !

Over Christmas Sheikh got the privilege of playing with Shiv Chanderpaul, putting on a 80 run partnership in a friendly match.

—————————————————————————–

Divya Patel (ASU Red Wolves) - as an all rounder and Captain, Divya shouldered the heavy responsibilities of developing his new team, and getting them to the 2012 Nationals. Then, wanting to play in a Regional, once he heard 2 new colleges nearby had joined American College Cricket, he worked hard to organize the first South Central Regional.

Under Divya’s leadership, Arkansas State won the South Central Regional. Patel’s on field performances included 70* vs Memphis, and 2 for 27.

Divya was also a top vote getter but most importantly, its student-leaders like Divya Patel who make the American College Cricket movement successful. He is also a candidate for Top Newcomer, Top Club President, & Arkansas State Cricket is a nominee for Top New Club !

—————————————————————————————

Anurag Verma (Texas A & M) broke onto the scene at the 2012 South West Championship as an exciting left handed stroke player who made 44, 67 & 54 with glorious strokes and was a big contributor to Texas A & M winning the first South West Championship. The entire Texas A & M club did a wonderful job of organizing the South West Regional, on their recently acquired cricket field.

At the 2012 Nationals, his team, Texas A & M extended their unbeaten streak to 11 matches as Verma helped his team even when he did not score big (e.g a 60 run opening partnership of which he scored 20). He also bowled and had 2 for 25 as his best. In the Semis against York College he was run out for 12 as the Aggies lost.

Additionally Anurag’s Aggies team mates & supporters set our Facebook Page afire early with votes for 2012 Player of the Year, and apparently his play impressed someone else, as he got married !

————————————————-

Mohammad Suleman (York College) is one of American College Cricket ‘s biggest promoters on Facebook, posting articles to his personal FB profile, as well as the York College group.

In 2010, together with Lloyd Jodah,he started the York College club & bowled medium pace, then came back in 2012 in a supporting role, and as a spin bowler. Here are his astonishing bowling stats in 2012 :

Nationals – 4 for 18 vs Houston Cougars, 3 for 12 vs Auburn, 2 for 26 vs NYU-Poly, 3 for 16 vs Cleveland State, 2 for 10 vs Texas A & M, 2 for 23 vs USF

North East Regionals - 2 for 21 vs Princeton, 4 for 14 vs Cornell, 4 for 7 vs Harvard, 1 for 23 vs Rutgers.

His 2 wickets in the Finals, including that of Championship MVP Sai Ramesh, effectively put the brakes on what seemed like a certain win for USF, earning Suleman the Finals MVP Award.

His consistent promotion of American College Cricket on Facebook earned him the opportunity to meet Shiv Chanderpaul, Brian Lara, Clive Lloyd,Courtney Walsh and Jimmy Adams and he presented the American College Cricket/TV Asia Award to Brian Lara !

—————————————————————————————–

Kartik Radhakrishnan (Virginia Tech) is a batsman and off spinner on the Hokies team that participated in their first National Championship in March. Kartick had a number of key allround performances for the team in 2012: 2 for 19 vs Texas Tech, 21 and 2 for 13 vs Penn State and 50* and 2 for 19 vs UMBC.

Most importantly the work of Kartik and the Club enabled Kartik to break new ground for cricket by being selected as Virginia Tech Male Athlete of the Year 2011 (out of 31 VT Sports Clubs). The VT Cricket Club also is one of the few college clubs with its own cricket field.

At first no votes came in for Kartik, but his supporters later voted in large numbers to boost his candidacy !

—————————————————————————————-

Haider Ali (Rutgers) became the first cricket player to hit a century on TV in the US & Canada smashing 119 in 47 balls at a strike rate of 253.19, hitting 11 sixes & 9 fours against Boston University ! He followed it up with 53 in 36 balls vs York College in the Finals – both innings shown on TV Asia in all their splendor ! Ali made 0 & 71 in the preliminary matches.

At the Spring Break Championship he scored 58, 54, 35 and 40 ! In 8 innings in 2012 he scored 430 runs, average 53.75, making Haider the top scorer in college cricket in 2012.

Disappointingly, though a favorite of his team, Haider got practically NO votes from Rutgers players and fans, but his batting was so outstanding that he had to be a College Player of the Year !

—————————————————————————————–

Harsh Desai (Ryerson University) - the Ryerson team included a 6’5 (Warren Rajroop) and a 6’3 (Rayyan Pathan) fast bowlers but it was Harsh Desai, at around 5’9 who bowled some superb bouncers, that resulted in wickets ! Not pitched that short, & moving into the chest, they were very difficult to play & Desai was the MVP of that North East tournament, taking 17 wickets !

At the 2012 American College Cricket Spring Break Championship Harsh took 2 wickets for 7 runs, 3 for 6 runs and 2 for 10. In the Quarter Finals when he did not get wickets, Ryerson lost.

A tremendous number of his supporters voted for Harsh to make him a 2012 College Player of the Year.

————————————————————————————–

Ricky Nayar (UF ) averaged 114.5 in 7 innings in 2012, with highest scores of 68* and 88* ! (Ricky is one of our 10 Centurions, scoring 101* at the 2011 Nationals). He took 8 wickets at 7.34 runs & a best of 3 for 16. He also wicket-keeps.

A leader for the Gators from the beginning of their “season ball” team in 2010, the Gators batting has usually followed Nayar until the Finals of the 2012 South East Championship when Ricky failed but his teammates did the job.

Nayar & the Gator club has been featured in Gators media a number of times, and they are currently ranked # 2 once again in USA & Canada. They work hard at participating in required club activities, such as working football games, to raise points and funds.

Gators fans supported Ricky by voting for him in large numbers, making him, together with Sai Ramesh, Adil Bhatti and Adrian Gordon repeat College Players of the Year !

——————————————————————-

Sai Ramesh (USF) was the MVP at the 2012 American College Cricket Spring Break Championship. In the Finals Ramesh was leading the USF charge for victory when he was out lbw - the professional way Ramesh took the decision (a correct one) that ended USF’s chances of winning the Chanderpaul Trophy, is as a testament to how the game should be played.

Here are his stats from March – he was not able to play in Nov because of his MBA dissertation:

45 & 2 for 12 , 64* & 3 for 23, 46 & 4 for 9 , 20 & 0 for 9,42 & 0 for 21, 42 & 2 for 34 !

Bowling off spin, took 11 wickets for 108 runs. He scored 259 runs @ 51.8 runs average. Sai took 7 catches in front of and behind the wicket, and had 2 run outs !

Someone else also thought he was an MVP - he got married recently !

———————————————————————————–

For the selection of the Players of the Year we added a new feature – fans were able to vote for the nominees (on the AmericanCollegeCricket.com Facebook Page) and this made even it more exciting as supporters of some players voted in large numbers !

As in ALL American College Cricket Awards promotion of American College Cricket (especially on Facebook & Twitter) is VERY important.

The intent is to have about 5 new, plus repeat College Players of the Year. Points accumulated plus voting made it too close to eliminate any of the Players chosen however, and we felt it was more important to honor the Players than to fit an arbitrary number.

On the NYC Subway, after the Kascade concert

by Alyna

Since I finally have a stable gym membership I decided to really kick start my workout routine. I have created a Summer Slimmer workout routine…I know, I know, cheesy name…..

It is a 3-day split routine – I love 3 day splits. I have split it into agonist and antagonist muscle groups; I have also thrown in a bunch of abdominal exercises. I did this because I find myself skipping out on ab exercises because they are simply gruelling – and I am usually tried and lazy after weight training.

Most of the exercises are supersets of 12 reps and 3 sets, and 20 minutes HIIT will always be followed after weight training, with the only exception of the Leg day. I say this because my legs are pretty fatigued after squatting and pressing heavy weights, so instead, I will either do a spinning class a few hours later, or I will do some sort of low intensity steady state cardio, like walking, or any form of book cardio.

BACK & CHEST

Superset:
Close Grip Lat Pull: 3 X 12 reps @ 60lbs/70lbs/70lbs
Chest Dips: 2 X 12 reps @ Pin 10/Pin 9
1 X 8 reps @ Pin 9

Superset:
One Arm & One Leg Balance Bent Over Bench Row: 3 X 12 reps @ 25 lbs
Dumbbell Pull Over: 11 reps/10 reps/7 reps @ 30 lbs

Normal Set:
Assisted Pull Up: 8 reps @ Pin 14/8 reps @ Pin 15/10 reps @ Pin 16

Superset:

Seated Wide Grip Incline Cable Row: 3 X 12 reps @ 50 lbs
Lying Dumbbell Pec Flyes: 3 X 12 reps @ 15 lbs

Followed by HIIT on the Treadmill – 30 second sprints @ 8.0 and 30 second walks @ 4.0 for a total of 20 minutes. The last 5 minutes I sprinted at 7.5 because I thought I would die if I continued running at 8.0.

I came home exhausted, jumped into the showered, and relaxed before getting ready for the KASKADE CONCERT !

I saw Kaskade live in Toronto in 2008, and it was one of the best live DJ concerts I had ever been to. I love house music but the problem is that electro music isn’t always the best live. I feel like DJs just don’t rip it up as good as they do on a CD; however, Kaskade and Axwell are 2 DJs that I think are totally unreal live!

Manaal’s friend had free tickets and was nice enough to give them to us, so we trekked out to Coney Island and danced our butts off! It was so awesome! The concert took place on a Basebell diamond in Brooklyn; it took us about 50 minutes by subway.

We got pretty close to the stage, but I couldn’t bare to be in the midst of the mosh pit, so I moved back a bit where I had room to dance freely.

The subway ride back was super fun! It was a subway filled with people from the concert, and Amaani and I still couldn’t stop dancing – the concert was too short!

The next day was a recovery day from the night before. We ended up going out to a club in the city and Amaani and I woke up earlier than we anticipated. Basically it was a day of relaxation and gluttony. We ate whatever came our way – it was disgusting, but also incredible !

CHEESY TILAPIA STUFFED EGGPLANT

The first time I made this recipe was in my tiny studio apartment in Toronto – probably one of the first things I ever cooked by myself, for myself; however, instead of using shrimp and fresh basil, I used tilapia and pureed basil.
Holy MOLY, it was DARN GOOD!

This is what you need:

1.5 Large Eggplants
1/4 cup Pureed Basil
3 Tilapia Fish, chopped into small pieces
3/4 cup Partly Skimmed Shredded White Cheese
1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
1/2 tablespoon Pureed Garlic
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 tablespoon Dried Oregano
1/4 cup chopped onions
Salt to taste

This is what you do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise. Make perpendicular slices in the flesh, and scoop out the flesh – leaving about a 1/4 inch from the shell (this was the hardest and most annoying part).
Put the scooped out flesh in a bowl and set aside.
Drizzle 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in the empty shells.
Place the empty eggplant shells in the oven while you prep the other stuff.
In a pan heat the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the onions and garlic. Before the onions get brown mix in the eggplant flesh. Allow the eggplant to soften.
Add the pureed basil, oregano, and salt.
Keep mixing ingredients up in the pan.
Add fish.
Add cheese and breadcrumbs. Save some to sprinkle on the top.
Remove eggplant shells from the oven, and scoop cheesy fish and eggplant into the shells.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
Place in oven for about 30 minutes.

We placed chopped Portobello mushrooms on top just before putting them in the oven to cook !

This recipe serves 3 in my opinion (6 in Amaani’s).

<g:plusone href="http://americancollegecricket.com/2012/06/24/alyna-2-nyc-getting-accepted-by-ubc-a-chest-workout/" size="tall" ></g:plusone>
I GOT INTO UBC (University of British Columbia) ! THE WAIT IS OVER!!!!!! I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY!

For 3 months I have been imagining when and where I would be when I got my acceptance letter (I’m going back to school after leaving Ryerson University to continue studying Kinesiology). I have dreamed, schemed, and fantasized about it so many times.

There have been times where I have been out with friends or family, and pulled out my iPhone to check and see, and often thought to myself, “hm…I don’t want to find out in this particular situation” or “this would be the perfect time to find out!!”
When I was getting on my flight to NYC, I was hoping I would find out right before take off – how epic would that be?!

But really, where ever and when ever, it is a damn good feeling!

I was THRILLED!!!

I had actually forgotten to check today – surprisingly since I have been checking multiple times a day – sometimes every 10 minutes!
I had just come home from a manicure and pedicure, slash <del>window</del> shopping at Bloomingdales, and a friend asked me, on Facebook, whether I had been accepted yet or not – which is what prompted me to check.

and TA DA….!

And then I went to the gym!

I trained my Chest today:

Flat Dumbbell Chest Press
2 sets: 12 reps/10 reps @ 35 lbs
1 set: 12 reps @ 30 lbs

Incline Chest Press Machine
1 X 12 reps @ 40 lbs
2 X 12 reps @ 30 lbs

Standing Cable Chest Flye
3 X 12 reps @ 15 lbs

Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes
1 X 12 reps @ 15 lbs
2 X 12 reps @ 20 lbs

Followed by 30 minutes on the Elliptical (on average I was at level 9) and 10 minutes on the Stationary Bike (level 5).

And then I came home and prepared dinner.
We made Panko Crusted Parmesan Chicken Breasts and Arrabiata Cheese Ravioli with a glass of celebatory champagne, and some good ol’ cousin time. Sounds pretty darn delicious eh?!

I wish I took pictures!! I was actually going to post the recipe up, but it totally slipped my mind in all the excitement !

I guess I could still post the recipe of tonights dinner, but what’s a recipe without pictures?!
I am not a fan of recipes without pictures – if it doesn’t have an appetizing visual, it best sound pretty darn delicious, perhaps with something that will automatically get my salivary glands bursting by just reading the name of something I love to eat; like, goat cheese, brie cheese, zucchini, mushrooms, coconut, basil, hazelnuts, pecans, or any nuts really…okay, can you tell I am hungry?! and sleepy for that matter. It’s almost 3 am. I better get to bed!

Sweet dreams

I feel extremely grateful to live in the most beautiful city in the world, where the weather is mild; the trees are green; the ocean is near; and the mountains protect me.

My blog will consist of factual information on things that intrigue me, informative posts to help you achieve your health and wellness goals, a log of my diet and training, and of course, random piffle and ranting about my oh-so-exciting life

If you met me in high school, 4 years ago, you would probably wonder if I was the same person. I was the kind of girl who bunked gym class to smoke at the smoke pitt with her friends, and always whined when she had to participate in physical activity.

When i graduated from high school in 2007, I was absolutely positive that I wanted a career in fashion design. I headed to Ryerson University in Toronto, where i began my studies in Fashion Design. The program was prestigious and the work was tedious.

After 2 years of enjoying life, growing up, and getting to know myself, I abruptly moved back to Vancouver. I took a semester off, spending half of it living the life of a rock star in Toronto, and the other half working at a restaurant in Vancouver. I then enrolled in school; completely and utterly confused as to where life was going to take me (or rather, where I was going to take life), I started taking an assortment of liberal arts and science courses, in hopes of finding a passion along the way.

My 22nd birthday with my 2 besties, Julie & Shahriar.

I enrolled myself in a Biology class after being inspired by the tv show The Big Bang Theory. The Biology class inspired me to love my body and take care of this temple.I quit smoking (my first failed attempt) and decided I wanted to run a marathon.

I started training (I had only ever run on a treadmill so this was entirely new to me), which opened a wonderous door. I wanted to know how runners should fuel themselves; and began a lot of reading on nutrition and diet. I have had a gym membership since the age of 14. So, lifting weights and proper form has never been a foreign language to me.

Somehow, marathon running evolved into bodybuilding, which led to further research, reading, and learning.

The following semester, I randomly enrolled in a Human Kinetics course called Biodynamics. This is when I realized I was meant to pursue my studies in Kinesiology; and let me tell you, it is the best personal discovery I have encountered. I absolutely LOVE school! Never before in my life have I been so thrilled to study, sit through lectures, and do homework.

I have learned so much in these past 2 years through school , causing me to gradually improve and enhance my health, wellness, and physique.

Moving back to Vancouver was truly a blessing. I discovered so much about myself and have paved a new path for my future; which I positively feel is a road to success.

I plan to share all that tickles my fancy

I love to sweat and try to workout 5-6 times a week. I used to be an avid yogi, practicing 7 days a week but unfortunately, due to my school work (and being broke), I have had to choose between the gym and yoga. One of my goals is to find time in my life, to incorporate yoga at least twice a week.

I love food and have an enormous appetite. I have a terrible habit of munching and I love sweet treats, so I aim to eat clean 80% of the time.
Between school, the gym, and living life, I find it hard to cook meals everyday, but make a strong effort to have meals prepared the night before.

I hope to one day make a difference, as woman, in the world of health and wellness.

Amaani , in a lot o these pics with me, is my cousin,my best friend, my soulmate. She knows every detail of my life, and probably knows me better than I know myself. I do not know what I would do without her wisdom and companionship.

Join me in my next post when I leave to spend 2 months in NYC with her!

Please do keep in mind that I am not a certified trainer (as of yet), or a registered dietician, so please perform all exercises at your own risk, and if you have any allergies, be mindful of the recipes on my blog.

Players will be drawn from this 17 shortlisted to play any matches arranged, based on availabilty due to school/work. Other players may be added if neccessary.

There are plans for the Team to play vs an All America College Team, and a Special Guest team at the 2012 American College Cricket Northeast Championship sponsored by Coca Cola on TV Asia.

Players were only selected from Canadian Universities that participated in American College Cricket events.

Back in 1844 when a USA vs Canada cricket match was the first International sporting event, many College (University) students played for both teams.

by Lloyd Jodah

I met Ravin Moorthy in 2008. Later, in early 2010 Ravin played a significant role in Toronto’s York University participating in the 2010 American College Cricket Spring Break Championship.

My goal was to stimulate the development of cricket at the University level in cricket – Ravin immediately understood my vision and encouraged York University, which came, saw, and conquered, winning the Chanderpaul Trophy.

Indicative of his cricket foresight, Ravin joined the American College Cricket Advisory Board, and put the webcasts of the 2010 American College Cricket Spring Break Championship on the Cricket Canada website.

York U Cricket was catapulted onto the pages of Canada’s top newspaper, Globe & Mail, and into the University media. York U stars such as Khushroo Wadia and Raza Rehman have been selected to play for Canada.

A Canadian Universities tournament was started, and I began more teams at McGill and Queens University. Ravin was particularly pleased when I started the team at McGill, his alma mater. McGill was later was featured on CBC, and Ryerson is now a new strong force.

It is with pleasure therefore we see Ravin Moorthy was elected as the new President of Cricket Canada !

In brief remarks on Monday, Cricket Canada’s new President was grateful for the responsibility given by the board.

“I would like to thank the Board of Directors for showing their confidence in me to lead Cricket Canada through this important period of growth and development. Cricket is cross-cultural, generational, and connects millions of Canadians in communities across the country. Cricket Canada will be calling on all stake holders including Canadian Corporations and the Government of Canada to support the organization through these exciting next steps.”

Ravin is the first Albertan to assume the post of President and has established a solid reputation for consistent success in both program & portfolio managment and organisational governance. He has held multiple executive positions within Cricket Canada, Cricket Alberta, and the Calgary & District Cricket League and is a member of the American College Cricket Advisory Board, during a period of 15 years volunteer service to the sport in Canada.

Ravin Moorthy is a graduate of McGill University.

<g:plusone href="http://americancollegecricket.com/2012/03/21/2010-champs-york-u-lions-vs-4-ryerson-u-rams-at-the-cbrp-stadium/" size="tall" ></g:plusone>
Fall of last year Ryerson University got a nailbiting win over York University, the 2010 American College Cricket Champions. Ryerson Rams, led by 2012 “Leadership Award” winner Hassan Mirza, then came to the American College Cricket Northeast Championship, which featured 10 regional schools, and won that title.

Preparations immediately began for the Rams to come to the Spring Break Championship, which this year was sponsored by Coca Cola.

York U Lions in the meantime was seeing their American College Cricket success leading to opportunities for their star players: Khushroo Wadia was selected to represent Canada, then later Raza Rehman and Rustam Bhatti got the nod. In fact Rehman and Bhatti are currently on tour with Canada at the ICC t20 World Cup, and so missing the Spring Break Championship.

In the group stages both teams looked professional and strong, and either appeared to be a contender for the Chanderpaul Trophy.

By the previously announced formula the 2 teams met in the Quarter Finals for a highly anticipated battle. Ryerson was playing its first game at the CBRP Cricket Stadium, whilst York University was looking for revenge !

The best opening pair in USA & Canada, Khushroo Wadia and Jai Patel then got York U off to an incredible start with a century partnership. Jai Patel himself is an American resident, and hoping to play for the USA.

Refreshed with Powerade, left hander Jai Patel stroked 56 (6 fours, 2 sixes) and right handed Wadia hit 53 (5 fours,3 sixes) before pacer Sufi Chaudhary got them both. But the pair had done enough on the large Stadium field, and with York skipper Hassan Chogthai adding 31 (2 fours, 3 sixes) the Lions posted a formidable 169 for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Though Ryerson lost the early wicket of Kyle Edgehill,Farhan Khan 34 (3 fours) and skipper Hassan Mirza 13 steadied the ship and Ryerson looked threatening. However astute bowling changes at both the Coca Cola and Dish Network ends by York University kept the wickets falling, and Ryerson Rams were all out for 126 in 19.5 overs. Noman Aslam contributed 18, and Rayyan Pathan 11.

Tehseen Shah, who just made the squad, swung the ball well, and has been the bowling find for York University.

All of York’s bowlers, Jaiveer Chauhan, Hassan Chogthai, Zubair Zia, Hasan Adil,Tehseen Shah and Arsalan Qadir shared wickets, as York University savored sweet revenge over Ryerson University, and advanced to the final four, for the 2nd time in 3 years.

Watch York University play the University of South Florida in the Semi Finals on Saturday, March 24 on TV Asia. TV Asia is available in the USA & Canada on ALL major cable systems and Dish Network.

The two teams faced off on TV Asia on Sat Nov 12, in the Finals of the American College Cricket Northeast Championship, and an opportunity to zoom up the rankings, maybe even to number 1 !

Ryerson University’s pace attack is 5 deep, and tall - Warren Rajroop is 6’5′, Rayan Pathan 6’4′, Siufian Chaudhary 6’2′, Azad Zaidi,6′ with Harsh Desai -bouncers come easy !

NYU-Polytechnic atttack boast America’s fastest, Adrian Gordon but it was clear that Ryerson held the advantage in the bowling dept.

Batting first the NYU-Polytechnic batsmen relied on extras to move the score along, and at the end of the Power Play they had just 17 runs for 2 wickets.

However hard hitting strokeplayer Adrian Gordon had just come to the wicket, and he delighted with some glorious cuts and hooks, getting 4 twos on the slow outfield, before stroking 3 fours.

In March Gordon smashed 145* in the national championship, so the Ryerson team had to be getting worried when Gordon came back too casually for aa 2nd run, and was run out !

Gordon was out at 56, and only Somesh Batra, 12 reached double figures as the NYU-Poly team crumbled.

Once again Harsh Desai took crucial wickets, 2 for 17 off 3 overs. Hasan Mirza, the Ryerson captain, 2 for 15 in 3 overs and Azad Zaidi 3 for 6 in 1.3 overs.

Hasan Zaidi then opened the batting with Farhan Khan,10 and played a solid innings before opening up,striking 2 sixes and 1 four in 30*. Coming at 3, Rahat smashed 4 sixes in his 33* as the two put on an unbeaten partnership of 68 runs to win the game and the title for Ryerson !

A mistake was made in declaring Azad Zaidi the MVP, as it was his brother, Hasan who made 30*. The MVP was Harsh Desai, who once again took crucial wickets to swing the game Ryerson’s way.

Ryerson won in such a convincing manner that they have immediately vaulted themselves to be among the favorites to win the Chanderpaul Trophy at next March’s American College Cricket Spring Break Championship.

Play by play commentary for the game was done by Lloyd Jodah, and filming by Riverview Studios headed by Jim Parker, for TV Asia.
