Adil Bhatti (MC) to lead All Star Alumni Nov 20 & 21 !

The American College Cricket All Star Weekend, Nov 20 & 21 will feature many top players of American College Cricket, past & present, at Moosa Stadium which has hosted 2 previous All Star Weekends.This Series is different in that it will have 2 American College Cricket teams facing each other, comprised of Alumni & current students.

Captain of 1 team will be alumni Adil Bhatti who as Captain of Montgomery College in 2009 became USA’s biggest cricket star since John Bart King. Bhatti led Montgomery to winning the 1st American College Cricket National Championship & got back to the Finals in 2011.A wonderful ambassador for the game since he broke through in 2009, Adil was in the 1st Class of Inductees in the American College Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.

Adil was 2011 co MVP & earned a trip to the IPL to train with the Rajasthan Royals. He also attended the National Baseball Hall of Fame cricket Exhibition – Swinging Away – How Cricket & Baseball Connect in 2011.

Among the major mainstream media he was featured in was the NY Times in 2009,and the Front Page of the Sunday Washington Post in 2010. Montgomery County itself issued a Proclamation honoring the college’s achievements and Bhatti’s performances with the Bat & Ball established his place as one of American College Cricket’s greatest All Time All rounders. He scored many 50s and a century and opened the bowling for Montgomery. In 2016 Adil captained the Alumni to victory over the Current Students.

After his outstanding performances in American College Cricket Adil was selected for for USA in 2012, playing in List A and T20s in a period when USA was not getting a lot of cricket. He has been one of the fittest cricketers in USA of the past 12 years, plays in the Washington Cricket League and always in demand for teams around USA.
