2019 College Players of the Year – the All Americans!

American College Cricket Founder and President Lloyd Jodah

Each year since Jan 2010 the College Players are named. At first we also named an All American Team, an honorary ‘team’, like other college sports do. However ‘All American’ was new to our cricket players generally, and misunderstood. Cricket had for decades kept itself outside of mainstream American society and sports traditions, and still does to a great extent.

So eventually our College Players of the Year’ and our ‘All Americans’ became one ‘team’ of players honored for their contributions to American College Cricket for the Year. Here are the 2019 College Players of the Year, the All Americans – a term that is honorary and does NOT mean the players have to be American. Nor is this the same as our All Star or US team which is named when we play vs Canadian College Cricket. Of all the College Players of the Year, one is given the Rohan Kanhai Award, in honor of that great Legend.
