The Jamaica Tallawahs MVP Award Goes to….

tallawahscheerleadersEach year the Jamaica Tallawahs funds an Award to the American College Cricket Season MVP, which gives the student the opportunity to trave to Jamaica to train with the professional team. Last year the winner was Harvard’s Arjun Verma.

Factors are ON and OFF the field contributions throughout the year. This year the Tallawahs will include the most successful T20 cricket ever, as well as a man who scored a Triple century in Tests, Chris Gayle. Chris will no doubt teach our MVP the finer points of running between the wickets. Andre Russell is the most dynamic T20 batsman right now, and he is also on the team Tallawahs team so it will be an exciting time for the MVP.
