In 2011 when American College Cricket and TV Asia signed an Agreement, part of it was for a TV show about college players’ on campus lives. However the show was never made for a few reasons, including budget limitations. Later in 2016 the idea came up again with SONY’s agreement with American College Cricket.

In 2018 Hotstar, the other Media giant in cricket, apart from SONY, came to USA and, consulting with Lloyd Jodah and Cricclubs actually proceeded with the idea. 6 college age players from USA were selected to spend time in India being trained by Anil Kumble, Irfan Pathan, Darren Sammy etc. 3 of those players were American College Cricket players -Yale’s Mrinal Kumar, Arkansas State’s Kishan Das and UT Dallas’ Karthik Sagar Gattipali.

The Show is on Hotstar every Saturday in USA. A prime example of the opportunities American College Cricket players get.
