Arjun Verma (Harvard) Wins Jamaica Tallawahs Award ! Will Train with Team !
The Jamaica tallawahs is a professional cricket team, owned by Worldwide Sports, that plays in the Caribbean Premiere League (CPL). The Tallawahs won in 2013 and 2016. Among other stars who have played for the Talalwahs are Kumar Sangkarra, Brendan McCullum and Shakib al Hasan. This year Shahid Afridi, Andre Russell and Ross Taylor are on the team which will play 3 matches vs other CPL teams in August, at Central Broward Regional Park.
The Jamaica tallawahs and Worldwide Sports are giving an American College cricket player, each year, the opportunity to train with the Tallawahs in Jamaica, and be with the team for their games at CBRP – all expenses paid. this year the player chsen as the American college Cricket 2017/18 season MVP is Arjun Verma fast bowling all rounder who became Harvard Cricket Club President at age 19.
